At Untitled Art, Richard Saltoun Gallery presents a stand dedicated to textile art with works by Olga de AMARAL, and Gustavo PÉREZ MONZÓN.

Internationally celebrated for her monumental textile installations and fibre sculptures, Olga de Amaral has helped elevate textile art from the domestic setting of craftwork to the field of visual art. Her work is deeply driven by her exploration of Colombian culture and her own identity. Architecture, mathematics, landscape, and socio-cultural dichotomies in Colombia are woven together through her use of thread.

De Amaral’s work will be shown alongside tapestries and works on paper by Gustavo Pérez Monzón, one of the most important Cuban artists of his generation, lauded for introducing Conceptual art to his native country.
