In the photographs of this performance, Renate can be seen wearing a white cloth, printed with text, which she pulls and draws tight around her head and neck. The text, translated reads: Death stands behind every longing and with its bony finger threatens denial. Through the twisting of the fabric around her body, she interferes with a straight reading of the words, instead creating new misinterpretations of the text.
