I like catalogs and numbered objects and I enjoy finding certain numerological associations between images and numbers. In 2017 I planned a series of textiles inspired by a catalog of French fabrics from the 19th century and another catalog of colors from the 17th century, thought as the contemporary pantone, "Traité des couleurs servant à la peinture à l'eau". I am enclosing images.

I commissioned the realization of the textiles in a town in Oaxaca, Mexico (Teotitlán del Valle), recognized for the artisan production of textiles, where we traveled many times to supervise the realization. on the roads to this town I wrote down many place names related to the word water, some combinations of words that sounded weird and attractive. This is the origin of the name of textiles.
