Romany Eveleigh: One Liners: Curated by Flavia Frigeri
"By expressing her constant longing for what she describes as the ‘sought-for beginning’ Eveleigh makes it clear that her work is about the making, rather than the end point. The difficulty, or as she says ‘the magnitude of a beginning’ is challenging for the artist, who each time needs to find the energy to confront the empty surface that lies before her."
- Flavia Frigeri, 2024
