Daiara Tukano

Daiara Tukano opens her solo show Pamuri Pati: World of Transformation at the Museu de Arte do Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on view from 10 May – 25 August 2024.

 

The exhibition features a critical essay by Lilia M. Schwarcz and showcases over 70 works, including paintings, drawings, and installations that provide a comprehensive overview of Daiara's production. These pieces reflect the worldview of the Tukano people, emphasizing the female perspective within their narratives.
