Jo Spence, Alexis Hunter

Jo Spence and Alexis Hunter are included in the exhibition The Ignorant Art School: Five Sit-ins towards Creative Emancipation Phase 4: Sit-in #4:Outside the Circle is a group exhibition that is inspired by and generated from feminist and queer movements since the beginning of the 20th century.

 

The exhibition foregrounds intersectional feminist and queer strategies of radical emancipation, resistance, survival, and collective action as critical and pedagogical ‘ruptures’ in our lived experience.
