Thomas De Falco's solo exhibition, GOLD - - While all Flow'rs and all Trees do close To weave the Garlands of repose, curated by Elsa Barbiera, is on view at Museo d’Arte Contemporanea di Cavalese.
Specially created for the Cavalese Museum, the exhibition is rooted in an intimate connection with nature and the surrounding landscape, aiming to honor women in the modern world. For the occasion, Thomas De Falco will present approximately 35 textile works, including sculptures and tapestries, most of which are previously unseen. Alongside these, a new performance, curated by Clara Tosi Pamphili, draws a parallel between motherhood and nature.
A special section in the exhibition is devoted to works by artists that have been influential for De Falco's ongoing artistic research, including gallery artist, Greta Schödl.
The exhibition will be on view 23 November 2024 - 9 March 2025.
