Two works by Florence Peake are included in the group exhibition Motion in Stillness: Dance and the Human Body in Movement at the Victoria Miro, London.
This pair of paintings is a part of Peake's ongoing series, Factual Actual. The exhibition explores the challenge to preserve movement, even latent movement, in immobile form has preoccupied and beguiled artists over centuries.
The exhibition will be on view 21 November 2024 - 18 January 2025.
