Su Richardson's solo exhibition In Stitches will be on view at Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), Birmingham.
This exhibition will be the largest institutional retrospective of Richardson’s work to date, and the first solo exhibition in her hometown, showcasing the breadth of her fifty-year career. It will present some early work alongside recent soft sculptures that explore themes of motherhood, caring for family members, food preparation, the maternal body, breastfeeding, loss and illness.
The exhibition will be on view 8 March - 1 June 2025.
